Save it. Actually read it.
A few a day, read in minutes. What you save stops gathering dust, and anything you've read is there when you need it.

RReading list
Spaced review, without flashcards
Sound familiar?
Hundreds saved. None read.
- You see a great article, but there's no time right now. You save it for later.
- Months later the list is hundreds long, and you don't know where to start.
- You half-remember an idea you read somewhere, and can't find it again.
SignalLoop doesn't ask you to read more. It helps you finish what you saved, remember it, and find it again.
How it works
Save, read, and find it again.
- Save
- Share a post from X or an article from Safari. SignalLoop fetches the full text and writes a short card.
- Read
- Each day brings the number of reads you chose. Read in the original or tap to translate, then mark it done.
- Recall
- Ask a question and get an answer drawn from what you read, with numbered sources you can open.
Sources
Save from where you already read.
Share a link and SignalLoop fetches the full text, cleans it up and keeps it. These work best; any other web page works too.
- XPosts, threads and long-form articles
- WeChatOfficial-account articles, with the account and writer
- YouTubePlays in the app, with a timed transcript and chapters
- MediumArticles and publications
- SubstackNewsletters and posts
- ZhihuAnswers and column articles
- sspaiArticles
- GitHubREADMEs and release notes
- Any web pageBlogs, news, docs and PDFs
Reading
A reader that stays out of the way.
Clean text without the page around it: no menus, cookie bars or related-post lists. Pick the font and size you like, open images full screen, and highlight any sentence with a thought beside it.
Why durable workflows beat retry loops
Most pipelines fail in the middle. A fetch times out, a model call returns nothing, and the whole job starts again from the top.
A durable workflow keeps what already finished. Each step is retried on its own, so a failure costs one step, not the whole run.
Use this for the capture pipeline.
The trade-off is bookkeeping: every step needs a name, and its result has to be small enough to store.
Asking
Ask what you've read.
Answers come only from your own library, with numbered sources. Open a source and it jumps to the passage.
Split the work into steps and retry each one on its own, so a failure only repeats the step that failed1. Keep the retry count small and log the step name, so a stuck run is easy to find2.

Yours, not the AI's
AI helps you digest. The knowledge is yours.
AI tidies each article and answers your questions — but only from what you've read. You're building your own knowledge, not outsourcing your mind.

Weekly review
On Sunday, a few questions about what you read that week. Think first, then check the answer.
Highlights that come back
Passages you mark show up in your weekly review, and Ask checks them first.
Works with Claude and ChatGPT
Connect your library once, and your assistant can search what you've read.
Your library stays yours
No feed, no ads, no public profile. Delete your account and everything in it from Settings.
Questions
Is it free?
Free to start, with a monthly allowance of saves, questions and full-article translations. Pro raises the limits, translates up to 500 long reads a month, and can be monthly, yearly or a one-time purchase.
Can I bring my saves from Pocket or Instapaper?
Yes. Import the export file from Pocket, Instapaper, Raindrop, Readwise Reader, Omnivore, Cubox or your browser's bookmarks. The file is read on your phone and only the links are sent; they're fetched in the background and don't count toward your monthly saves.
What happens to my data?
It stays yours. Export everything as a file at any time, and delete your account and library from Settings. No feed, no ads, no public profile.
Can I use it in mainland China?
SignalLoop isn't in the mainland China App Store yet. With an Apple ID from another region (Hong Kong, the US and so on) you can download it; switch it under Settings → your name → Media & Purchases, and iCloud stays as it is. Sign in with Apple is the easiest way in, and X posts, WeChat articles and YouTube videos are fetched by our servers, so you read them right in the app.
